About Us
Thrive Sports Club was created from years spent on the sidelines—as coaches, parents, and members of the Chicago community.
After coaching youth soccer and basketball for more than a decade, we saw firsthand how many families were looking for something different. Too often, programs required long-term commitments, extensive travel, or schedules that simply didn't fit busy family life. We also saw increasing pressure for children to specialize in a single sport at an early age, despite the tremendous value that comes from exploring multiple sports and developing a broad athletic foundation.
As lifelong athletes ourselves, we experienced those benefits firsthand. Playing and coaching across different sports taught us that the best athletes—and often the happiest ones—build confidence, coordination, resilience, and a love of competition through diverse experiences rather than early specialization.
We believed there was a better way.
That's why we founded Thrive Sports Club: a place where kids can develop confidence, fundamental skills, and a lifelong love of movement in a positive and supportive environment. Through soccer, basketball, and multi-sport programming, we help young athletes become well-rounded individuals while giving families the flexibility they need to fit sports into their lives—not the other way around.
As parents ourselves, we're building the kind of sports club we would want for our own children: one that values teamwork, hard work, respect, integrity, versatility, and enjoyment, while helping every child leave a little more confident than when they arrived.
